Tomas Potts joins the University of Rochester men’s soccer program for the 2021 fall season.
Potts comes to the River Campus after serving as a volunteer assistant coach with the United States Naval Academy for the last two seasons. Also, during that time, he served as a goalkeeper coach and then Director of Goalkeeping at the Baltimore Armour Developmental Academy.
In addition, Potts coached with the Maryland Olympic Development Program and was an Assistant Coach as Howard Community College.
Potts played collegiately for two seasons at UMBC before being a part of the Georgia Southern program during the spring of 2018. While at UMBC, he was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
He holds a US Soccer National D License and has United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1 online diploma.
Potts earned his bachelors degree in Sports Management in December of 2020 from Towson University.
