Matt Dukarm recently completed his second season leading the Rochester squash program in 2024-25.
He joined the Rochester squash coaching staff in the summer of 2023 after competing for the five years at the collegiate level. He served as Interim Head Coach for one season, before being elevated to the full Head Coach role in the summer of 2024.Â
Dukarm currently sports a 20-12 career record (.625) and is a perfect 4-0 in Liberty League play, leading the Yellowjackets to back-to-back conference titles. He has coached 13 All-Liberty League honorees in two seasons and was named Coach of the Year in the conference twice.
In his first season at the helm, Dukarm guided the Yellowjackets to a 10-3 record overall and the teams first-ever Hoehn Cup (B Division) title at the CSA Team Championships. The .769 team winning percentage is the fourth best in program history for a single-season.
The Yellowjackets continued their strong play into Dukarm's second season in 2024-25, claiming another Liberty League title and berth into the CSA Hoehn Cup. Rochester's Yash Fadte also was named the winner of the CSA's prestigious Skillman Award, the highest individual honor in collegiate squash. Dukarm repeated as Liberty League Coach of the Year and seven individuals received All-Liberty League honors.

Dukarm played one season with the Yellowjackets squash team in 2023, finishing off his collegiate career as a graduate student. His undergraduate competition took place at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. While at Franklin & Marshall, Dukarm served as two-time team captain, leading the team during his junior and senior seasons.

His coaching experience includes time as Squash Coach and Counselor at the Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club, Squash and Fitness Coach at 716 Squash and Assistant Coach at his alma mater Canisius High School.

Dukarm earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Franklin & Marshall in 2022 and completed a Master’s degree in Business Analytics at Rochester in 2023.
