Amanda Stone joined the Yellowjacket tennis staff in late summer, 2011. She was a highly successful player on the collegiate circuit. In three seasons at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, Stone made two national tournament appearances on the NCAA Division II level. She attained a No. 11 doubles ranking in 2007 and posted an undefeated mark in singles play in her senior year.
Before going to Northeastern State, Stone played Division I basketball at Oral Roberts University. In college, she majored in mass communications with an emphasis in journalism and minored in art.
She played first and second singles in high school and was the 4A state runnerup in all four years on the scholastic level. She plays USTA tennis and is currently rated as a 5.0. Stone is involved in the Girls on the Run program and was an assistant coach in Kansas City. She is enrolled at the University of Rochester's William E. Simon Graduate School of Business.
Stone enjoys all sports, hiking, graphic design, running with her dog, Grim, and watching Oklahoma University football.
