At UR 2011-12: The senior started off his last season on the River Campus by going 4-2 combined during the fall season...Teamed with Joel Allen, Volkov went 3-0 at 3rd doubles for the Yellowjackets...Posted a 11-21 record during the spring portion of the schedule...Earned the second most individual match wins on UR during the spring with 11...Was a three time double winner in 2012.

At UR 2010-11: The junior was 10-11 in singles play, 17-9 in doubles play for the Yellowjackets...Teammed with Jeff Zink to take the B Flight doubles title at the SLU Fall Classic.

At UR 2009-10: Against Ithaca on Feb. 20, won the deciding match by a score of 6-4, 6-1 to help clinch a 5-4 victory over the Bombers...Volkov also teamed up with Daniel Barbash to win the #3 doubles match at 8-3...At UAA Championships, won the #3 doubles match with Jeff Zink...The team of Zink and Volkov was successful again at the St. Lawrence Invitational Men's Tennis Classic, where they won the B Doubles Bracket championship.

At UR 2008-09: 7-12 singles record, 12-9 mark as a freshman...Claimed B Flight doubles crown at the SLU Fall Classic with Dan Barbash...Also, reached semifinals at SLU in the C Flight of singles.

HS: Earned All-Gazette honors while at Walt Whitman High School...Helped the tennis team claim the Walt Whitman County title in 2008.
