Herman enters her first season as an assistant coach with the University of Rochester softball program in 2024.
Herman joins the Yellowjackets after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Nazareth University in Pittsford, NY. Over two seasons at Nazareth, Herman helped the Golden Flyers to a pair of Empire 8 Tournament appearances and coached eight all-conference selections, including a trio of first-team honorees.
A 2019 graduate of SUNY Fredonia, Herman began her coaching career at her alma mater, spending one season as an assistant coach with the Blue Devils in 2019-20.
Herman was a four-year member of the Blue Devils’ softball program, appearing in 108 games and making 107 starts at third base, tallying 77 hits, 35 runs scored, 16 doubles a home run and 34 RBI. Herman was named the Fredonia Athletics Female Rookie of the Year in 2016, while off the field, Herman was a six-time Dean’s List recipient and a four-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete.
Herman earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in English from SUNY Fredonia in May 2019.
