Jenna Modic

Jenna Modic recently completed her second season with the Rochester softball team in 2019.

During her two years, the Yellowjackets have qualified for the Liberty League Tournament twice and had a total of six All-Liberty League selections, including two who earned NFCA All-Region honors in 2019.

Modic came to the River Campus after spending the two seasons volunteering as an assistant coach with travel softball teams around the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.  She has also assisted with running softball camps at the University of Pittsburgh for six years.

She was a scholarship NCAA Division I softball athlete, starting her career at Miami University of Ohio, before transferring to the University of Pittsburgh for her junior and senior years.  At Miami, Modic earned 1st Team All-MAC honors and was named to the All-MAC freshman team in 2013 before earning All-MAC second team honors as a sophomore.

After joining Pittsburgh, the honors continued, with Modic earning 1st Team All-ACC in 2015 followed by 2nd Team All-Conference honors the following year.

Modic graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's degree in Media and Professional Communications while minoring in Corporate Communications in 2016.
