Amy Woods joins the Rochester Women's Basketball coaching staff for the 2014-15 season.  Woods, a 2013 graduate of the University, majored in Health, Behavior and Society with a minor in International Relations.  She also was a four year member of the Yellowjacket Women's Basketball team.

While competing at UR, Woods played in 108 games, making 31 starts.  She averaged 6.1 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game in her career while shooting 49.1% from the floor.  She was a co-captain in the 2012-13 season (senior year) and helped lead the team to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament that year.

Rochester's record in Woods' four seasons was 83-27 and UR combined to reach three NCAA Tournaments, including reaching the Final Four in 2009-10.  The Yellowjackets won the Wendy's College Classic all four seasons while Woods was a player.  She ended her career 18th in rebounding, 7th in field goal percentage and 10th in blocked shots.

Away from the court, Woods was a Take Five student, studying in Italy after her graduation from UR.  She also was very active in community health and clinical research, working at the University of Rochester Medical Center and at the University of Rochester Well at Asbury.
