Lindsey Burke

Lindsey Burke

Lindsey Burke joined the Rochester women's basketball coaching staff for the 2017-18 season and recently completed her second season on the Yellowjacket sidelines.

Last year, Rochester finished with a 10-15 overall record and had the UAA conference Rookie of the Year.  In her first season on the River Campus, UR was 24-5 and reached the NCAA Elite 8 (national quarterfinals).

Prior to UR, she spent last four seasons working at both the Division I and Division III levels of collegiate women's basketball.

She came to the University after serving as Director of Basketball Operations at Division I Bucknell University during the 2016-17 season, seeing the Bison compile a 27-6 record and earning a berth in the NCAA Division I Tournament following Patriot League regular season and postseason tournament titles.  While at Bucknell, she oversaw all team travel, itineraries and transportation, worked with scouting reports and team meetings and handled all game video exchanges.  She also scheduled all team practices, organized community service and fundraising opportunities and managed the Bison women's basketball social media accounts.

Prior to working at Bucknell, Burke was an assistant coach at Division III's University of Mary Washington.  While there, the Eagles improved in every season, going 18-8 in her first year, 20-7 in her second year and 24-5 in her final year during 2015-16.  That season, UMW was the Captial Athletic Conference champions and earned a berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

She was a four-year player at Division II Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. While a student-athlete with the Lakers, Burke was a Dean's List student while being named a Mercyhurst Scholar-Athlete and a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete. Additionally, she was president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Burke graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication with a minor in Marketing in 2013 and then earned her Master's in Business Administration from Mary Washington in 2016.
