Morgan Crawford

Crawford joined the Rochester women's basketball program in the summer of 2017 after previously working as an assistant coach at Averett University in Danville, VA.  The 2018-19 season was her second with the Yellowjacket program.

Over her two seasons, Rochester is 34-20 overall and reached the NCAA Division III Tournament in the 2017-18 season, reaching the national quarterfinals (Elite 8).  In that time, UR has had one All-American player, five All-UAA selections and the UAA Rookie of the Year.

While coaching for the Cougars, Averett compiled a 32-21 record overall and qualified for the USA South postseason tournament in both seasons, reaching the semifinals in 2016-17. Crawford was responsible for recruiting, assisting with team film work and developed individualized training programs for the women's basketball student athletes while at Averett.

Prior to coaching in Virginia, Crawford was a volunteer assistant coach at Emory University for the 2014-15 season.

Crawford enjoyed a successful two-year playing career at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama.  She was a part of the winningest team in school history in 2012-13, helping the Lady Hawks reach their first ever NCAA Division III Tournament, making it to the second round that year.  During her two years with Huntingdon, she was an All-Great South Atlantic Conference performer twice and earned All-Academic honors in 2012-13.  Crawford led her team and conference in steals and assists in 2012-13 and was among the conference leaders in scoring at 13.2 points per game.

She was a 2013 graduate of Huntingdon with a Bachelors degree in Sports Studies while also earning her Master's degree in Business Administration, concentrating on Marketing from Averett in 2017.
