Carly Ritchlin brings with her a wealth of collegiate coaching experience and success to the University of Rochester lacrosse program. She completed her fourth season with the Yellowjackets in 2025.
Rochester saw four 'Jackets earn All-Liberty League honors in 2025, as UR went 5-12 (2-8 LL). Alyssa Gorny turned in a record-breaking campaign en route to Second-Team All-Liberty League honors, setting new single-season records for goals, draw controls, shot and shots on goal. Gorny and Gracie Giannettino also became just the third and fourth student-athletes in program history to reach the 200-career point mark, while first-year Isla Ablin ranked seventh in NCAA Division III in saves.
In 2024, the Yellowjackets went 9-9 (5-5 LL) and make the Liberty League Tournament for the first time since 2017. UR also defeated its first nationally-ranked foe in 15th-ranked St. John Fisher since 2003, and saw a pair of Yellowjackets in Second-Team All-Liberty League honors. As a team, Rochester also set new single-season records for points, goals and assists, while Grace Crochiere set a new single-season and program record for draw controls, and also broke the program record for caused turnovers.
During 2023, Rochester finished above .500 for the first full season since 2017, ending with a 9-8 record. The Yellowjackets set a program-record with 25 goals in a win over SUNY Morrisville on April 12 and finished the season with four All-Liberty League performers and one All-Region honoree.
While on the River Campus, she has coached 20 players to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll distinction and saw her team earn the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad every year.
