Pehnke joins the University of Rochester staff for the 2020 season. She spent the last four seasons as an assistant at Alma College, McDaniel College and Albright College.

While at Albright, Pehnke worked with the goalkeepers and served as the defensive coordinator for the 2019 season where the Lions finished 12-6 overall, which was a program record for wins in a single-season, and made it to the first round of the MAC Commonwealth Tournament. Under Pehnke, the defense finished at the top of the MAC Commonwealth in goals against by opponents and in caused turnovers.

As a player at Catholic, she was a second-team all-region performer as a goalie and played in the IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star game. Pehnke earned second-team All-Landmark Conference player honors as a freshman before elevating to first team as a senior. The Cardinals were three-time Landmark champions and advanced as far as the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals in both 2012 and 2015.

Pehnke graduated with a bachelor’s in history from Catholic and received a master’s degree in Kinesiology from McDaniel College.
