Will Greene

In their first season as a varsity sport, Will Greene oversaw a succesful season for the women's rowing program. At the Head of the Genesee regatta on October 13, the First Varsity 8 finished second. The spring season saw the Yellowjackets winning three cups at the University Rowing Association championships. In the Dad Vail Championships on May 8, Rochester's Varsity 8 boat won its heat with a time of 7:05.700.

Greene has spent five seasons coaching the Yellowjacket rowers on the club sport level. He is a 1988 graduate of the University. He joined the program as a freshman in 1984, bereft of rowing experience.

Upon graduation in 1988 he served in the United States Navy. Greene attended graduate school at Villanova University in Philadelphia where he rowed for the Pennsylvania Athletic Club.

Greene competed in numerous National Team selection regattas as well as internationally. He coached on the collegiate level with Villanova and the University of Pennsylvania women.

Following his retirement as a competitive oarsman, Greene worked as an attorney with several law firms in the Philadelphia area. After seven years on the legal front, he returned to Rochester to coach both the men's and women's club sport programs.
