ROCHESTER, NY (Oct. 22) – Emily Urbanczyk answered a Nazareth goal with twenty minutes left to play in regulation to even the score at 1.
The Golden Flyers netted the first goal of the game when Laura Mallia chipped the ball over the defensive line to set up a breakaway for Beth Berger at 49:04. The Yellowjackets scored 71:06 when Urbanczyk tapped the ball into the net after receiving a left wing cross from Alison Collins.
Adrianne Hulchanski made two saves in goal for Rochester in 110 minutes of play. Candace Hatcher stopped four Yellowjacket attempts in the net for Nazareth.
The tie brings Rochester to 7-5-2 on the season. The Golden Flyers are now 9-3-3.
Rochester will play their last regular season home game against RPI on Tuesday, October 28 at 6pm in Fauver Stadium. Before the contest, the Yellowjackets will hold a brief ceremony to recognize their senior class.
