WALTHAM, MA (Oct. 4) - Unbeaten Brandeis University scored 6:39 into the first sudden death overtime period to give the Judges a 3-2 victory over Rochester.
The Judges built a 2-0 lead on a first half score and a penalty kick with just under 18 minutes to play. Down 2-0 with less than 7:00 minutes left, Rochester struck quickly for a pair of goals to force the OT.
Alison Collins knocked in a cross from Anne McMahon at 83:08. Thirty-one seconds later, Collins stole a Brandeis pass, fed it ahead to McMahon, who one-touched it to Emily Urbanczyk to knot the score.
Sarah Malecki p[layed the first 45 minutes in goal. She was replaced at halftime by Adrianne Hulchanski who made four saves.
Brandeis is 9-0 overall. The Yellowjackets are 5-4-1.
