Field Hockey Nipped at Hartwick



ONEONTA, NY (Oct. 5) - The Yellowjacket field hockey team dropped a hard-fought 2-1 decision at Hartwick College on Sunday afternoon.

The 8-3 Hawks built a 2-0 lead before Kaitlin Poeth scored in the 58th minute off an assist from Celinda Fletcher.

Rochester outshot the Hawks, 12-10. Pam Sheffield made six saves in goal.

The Yellowjackets are 4-6.
