GENEVA, NY - One of New York State's best soccer rivalries ended in a scoreless draw this afternoon when Rochester and William Smith battled to a 0-0 tie in double overtime.
Adrienne Hulchanski made six saves to get her fourth win this season and her second solo shutout. She has shared two shutouts with Sarah Malecki.
Rochester outshot the Herons 18-14 and unleashed 10 shots at goal. Two balls were cleared off the line and William Smith goalkeeper Nikki Dudley made eight other saves.
The Yellowjackets, ranked #24 in Division III in the latest poll, are 4-2-1. William Smith is 3-1-1.
