Field Hockey Blanked by Saints



CANTON, NY (Sept. 27) - Rochester is 1-1 in the UCAA and 4-3 overall after a 3-0 loss to St. Lawrence here this afternoon.

St. Lawrence knocked in three of its seven shots in the first 27:36 and went on to the conference win.

Rochester outshot the Saints 6-2 in the second half, 11-9 for the match, but couldn't get on the scoreboard.

Courtney Nussbaum, who played the final 28:46 vs. Hamilton and picked up the win on Friday, went the distance in her first varsity start. She finished with five saves.

The Yellowjackets host William Smith in another UCAA tilt on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 7 pm.
