Krista Butler scored two goals for the Yellowjackets who picked up their eighth win of the season (8-6). Mary DiMatteo and Emily Zametkin scored one goal apiece.
Rachel Cahan blanked the Express for the first 35 minutes. She did not face a shot. Robin Levy played in the second half. She made three saves on five shots and permitted one goal.
Butler opened the scoring with 33:21 left in the first half on a pass from Kari Plewniak. DiMatteo struck for an unassisted goal with 17:28 left in the first period.
With 3:33 remaining before halftime, Erin Charnow played a penalty corner out to Heidi Davies. She settled it, got it to Fletcher, and Fletcher made it 3-0.
Fletcher set up Butler with 24:10 left in the match and found Zametkin with 19:52 left. The Wells goal was scored by Nicole Marjnowski, assisted by Kate McLaren with 20:17 left. That cut it to 4-1 and on Rochester's first rush downfield after that, Zametkin scored off the pass from Fletcher.
