Emily Urbanczyk scored on a direct kick with 5:19 to play to lift the Yellowjackets to a 2-1 victory at SUNY Geneseo on Thursday afternoon.
Rochester improved to 5-1-3 on the season. Geneseo is 4-10.
The Knights took a 1-0 lead at 28:20 when Emily Petraglia scored off a pass from Lindsay QuistChaffee.
Rochester leveled the score at 1-1 barely over two minutes later. Maureen Dudiak provided the setup and freshman Darby Grant scored her first collegiate goal - at 30:29 - to tie it.
Urbanczyk's free kick from 30 yards out was the gamewinner.
