The men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 tie through two overtimes at NYU on Saturday afternoon.
Rochester outshot the Violets, 14-11, and held a 7-5 advantage on corner kicks.
Jack Burgasser made seven saves to get his third solo shutout this season. NYU's Daniel Baker made eight saves.
Mike Springer was strong in the center of the Rochester defense.
The best chance for the Yellowjackets came in the eighth minute when Jeremy Mann was put through. His shot from the center of the box struck Baker's left hand and was cleared by the defense.
Rochester is 9-2-1 overall, 1-0-1 in the UAA. NYU is 6-2-2 overall, 1-0-1 in the UAA.
