CHICAGO, Ill. - Twelfth-ranked Rochester and 15th-ranked Chicago dueled to a 0-0 double overtime tie in women's soccer on Friday afternoon.
Rochester goalkeepers Adrianne Hulchanki (two saves) and Molly Leitch (three saves) combined for the team's eighth shutout in 11 matches. This was Rochester's fifth match against a Top 25 team and the Yellowjackets have conceded one goal in that time - a span of 400 minutes.
Chicago held a 13-9 shot advantage with five of the 13 on goal. Hulchanski played the first half. Leitch came on at halftime. She played the second half plus both 10 minute overtime periods.
Rochester is 8-1-2 overall, 2-0-1 in the University Athletic Association. Chicago is 8-2-2 overall, 1-1-1 in the UAA.
The Yellowjackets play at Washington on Sunday.
