Mary DiMatteo scored with 32 seconds left in the first sudden death overtime to give Rochester a 2-1 victory over SUNY Brockport at Fauver Stadium.
As the Yellowjackets pressed forward in the OT, Brockport goaltender Michelle Zelich blocked a shot by Krista Butler. The rebound came out to Celi Fletcher. She steered it into the middle and DiMatteo guided it into the lower right hand corner, just under Zelich.
DiMatteo and Fletcher teamed up for both Yellowjacket goals. With Rochester trailing, 1-0, Fletcher played a penalty corner short to DiMatteo and she rattled in a shot off the left side of the woodwork at 56:46.
Gretchen Brehm gave Brockport a 1-0 lead at 47:18. Amanda Pickard pushed the ball in from right wing towards the end line. Brehm's shot deflected off a Yellowjacket defender and beyond the reach of Robin Levy.
For Brockport, Zelich had 10 saves and Meghan Zimmer had one defensive save.
