Washington University, ranked 10th in both Division III polls this week, defeated the women's basketball team, 78-56, in St. Louis on Sunday afternoon.
Danielle Muller led the Yellowjackets with 13 points and eight rebounds. Jessie Graham hit three three-point goals enroute to nine points. Megan Krebbeks also scored nine points for the Yellowjackets.
Washington had four players in double figures. Kelly Manning led all scorers with 21 points.
The Bears used the offensive glass to fullest advantage. WU scored 30 second chance points.
Emily Bango had five assists for Rochester and one steal. Graham, who was 3 of 9 outside the arc, moved within one three-point basket of the single-season record. She has 64 treys. The record is 65, set a year ago by Erika Smith.
Rochester is 14-10, 6-7 in the UAA. The Yellowjackets wrap up the regular season on Saturday afternoon against Carnegie Mellon. It will be Senior Day.
