Rochester improved to 4-1-1 with its fourth shutout of the season, a 2-0 win at RIT.
The Yellowjackets took command early, scoring nine minutes into the match, then tacking on the second four minutes into period two.
Mary Walsh scored both Yellowjacket goals. With 8:35 gone in the first half, she collected passes from Laura Morrison and Emily Urbanczyk and roared past the defense in a partial breakaway.
At 48:54, Anne McMahon laid the ball into Walsh's path and she ripped it into the net from just inside the edge of the penalty area.
Adrianne Hulchanski played the first 45 minutes and Molly Leitch was in goal for the second period. Neither goalkeeper had to make a save. Rochester held a 27-4 advantage in shots and a 12-1 edge on corner kicks, 9-1 in the second half.
RIT is 1-6. Tiger goalkeeper Heather Moe made seven saves.
