WALTHAM, Mass. - The women's soccer team opened its University Athletic Association season by posting a 2-0 victory over Brandeis University.
Rochester used goals from Tammy Brewster (set up by Alie Streeter at 24:52) and Meaghan Magee (off a goalmouth scramble at 73:52) to post the victory.
Molly Leitch made four saves for her fourth complete game shutout this season. Hilary Rosenzweig had four saves in the Brandeis goal.
It was only the second loss of the season for Brandeis (6-2-1). The Judges are 0-1 in the UAA. Rochester is 5-3 overall, 1-0 in the UAA.
