PITTSFORD, N.Y. - Sean Hantes snapped a 1-1 tie with less than six minutes to play to give the University of Rochester a 2-1 victory over St. John Fisher in men's soccer.

The Yellowjackets stayed unbeaten at 3-0-2. Fisher is 2-2. The Cardinals were at Fauver Stadium on opening weekend for the Flower City Classic, but the teams did not play since they were scheduled to meet in this encounter.

Michael Peacock made two saves for Rochester and the Yellowjackets saved one ball off the line. Fisher goalkeeper Adam Durst made six saves. The Cardinals also cleared a ball from in front of their own net.

The gamewinning goal came less than a minute after Fisher scored a late equalizer. Hantes gave Rochester a 1-0 lead at 22:53, collecting a pass through the box from Misha Carrel-Thomas, and steering it past Durst.

Luke Lennox tied the score for the hosts. He broke through alone and lined the ball past the reach of Peacock at 83:37.

Hantes scored an unassisted goal at 84:29.
