Seventh-ranked Hobart College scored twice in the second half to pull away for a 3-0 win over Rochetser in men's soccer on Saturday at Fauver Stadium.
The Statesmen scored all three goals off throw-ins by Matt Geswell. Matt Schwartz scored at 26:49, Philipp Schoeniger at 50:19, and Nate Bechtold at 76:53.
Michael Peacock played the first 79:05 in goal for Rochester and Brandon Campbell played the last 10:55. Neither goalie made a save.
Hobart's Pete VanDellon made three saves to get the shutout. Rochester held an 11-3 advantage in shots and a 6-0 edge on corner kicks.
The teams split last season, with Hobart winning the regular-season game and Rochester taking a rematch in the NCAA Division III playoffs.
Rochester is 4-1-2, Hobart 7-0.
