The University of Rochester men's cross country team finished eighth out of 38 teams at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals held at Letchworth State Park.
The Yellowjackets top runner was Brian Lang, who finished 18th in a field of 264 runners. He ran the 8k course in 25:41.4. With the finish, Lang qualified for the NCAA Cross Country Championship. It will be his first appearance.
James Vavra was Rochester's second finisher (26th overall) with a time of 25:52.4. Jon Pinto (51st in 26:32.3), Jason Zayac (75th in 26:55.8) and Daniel Lane (99th in 27:31.8) round out Rochester's top five.
Displacers were Tyle Stelzig (137th) and Craig Baumgartner (143rd).
