ONEONTA, N.Y. - Anna Dobrzynski scored one goal in each half as the University of Rochester defeated Hartwick, 2-1 in field hockey. The win snaps a two-game losing streak for the Yellowjackets who are 3-3 overall.
Dobrzynski opened the scoring at 24:34, moving around Hartwick goaltender Mackenzie Chapman and dumping the ball into the net.
The Hawks battled back to tie it in the first minute of the second half. Kelsey Kimble's shot was saved by Rochester goaltender Danielle Pearson. Anna Drake pounced on the rebound and scored the equalizer.
Dobrzynski's gamewinner came at 49:50. She collected a pass from Shayna McKie, dribbled to the right side, and directed the ball beyond the reach of Chapman.
Pearson made four saves for Rochester. Chapman had five saves for Hartwick. The Hawks are 3-2. Rochester held a 12-7 edge in shots and an 11-7 advantage in penalty corners.
