Rochester scored three goals in a span of nine minutes in the first half and went on to a 7-0 victory over Utica College in women's soccer at Edwin Fauver Stadium.
Jessica Smith scored two goals. Bridgette Varin had one goal and two assists. Ellen Coleman and Bridget Kehm had a goal and assist each.
Erin Carballo and Lindsay Rood had single goals for Rochester. Kirsten Ross and Megan Magee had assists.
Rochester outshot the Pioneers 37-2.
Monique Schneeberger made seven saves in the Utica goal. Celeste Hornback had one save in the first half for Rochester and Bridget Lang had one save in the second half. Rochester improved to 5-1-2 overall. Utica is 3-4.
Rood opened the scoring, chipping a 25-yarder ovedr Schneeberger at 12:37. Carballo scored at 17:21 after the defense blocked a shot by Coleman. Smith increased the lead to 3-0 at 21:19, tipping the ball into the net.
Varin had two assists and one goal - a diving header from a Ross corner kick - in a span of 11:12 in the second half.
