With the first five scorers finishing in the top eight, Rochester easily ran to the team title at the Harry Anderson Men's Cross Country Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College.
Brian Lang was the individual champion, covering the course in 25:54. Dan Lane was second overall at 26:02. James Vavra was the third Rochester finisher through the tape, fourth overall, in 26:20. Craig Baumgartner was fifth in 26:23, and Jason Zayac was eighth at 26:49.
Both Yellowjacket displacers were in the top 12. Tyler Kieft was 11th (26:55) and Jacob Tutmaher was 13th (27;15).
A total of nine teams competed in the event.
