CLINTON, NY - Host Hamilton scored twice in the second half and went on to a 2-0 field hockey victory over the University of Rochester.

The Yellowjackets held a 7-1 shot advantage in the first half but couldn't crack the Continental defense. In the second half, Erin McNally turned a pass home from Colleen Callaghan at 40:19. McNally set up Amy Allen for the clinching goal at 67:27.

Rochester outshot Hamilton, 11-7, for the game. Each team took six penalty corners. Danielle Pearson made one save in goal for Rochester. Courtney DeMaria made two saves for Hamilton.

Rochester is 3-5 overall, 0-2 in Liberty League play.
