PITTSFORD, N.Y. - Anna Dobrzynski kept up her red-hot scoring streak with two more goals as the University of Rochester defeated Nazareth College, 2-1, in field hockey at Nazareth on Tuesday night.

She has five goals in three matches this season. Four of those goals have come at Nazareth. She scored a pair last Saturday as the Yellowjackets defeated Hartwick, 3-2. Rochester is 2-1.

Darragh Kerr made a defensive save, her third of the year, to keep the Golden Flyers off the scoreboard in the eighth minute. Lindsey Smith fired off a penalty corner but Kerr stopped it just 7:57 into the match.

Dobrzynski put the Yellowjackets ahead, 1-0, at 31:52. Smith got the Golden Flyers even when she scored early in the second half (38:16).

Rochester broke through for the winning goal midway through the second half. Anisha Gundewar took a penalty corner. Dobrzynski put home the winning goal at 53:39 with Gundewar picking up the assist.

Freshman goaltender Madison Wagner made six saves, three in each half. Kelsey Evans made six saves for Nazareth, four in the second half. Rochester held an 8-4 edge on penalty corners. Nazareth was ahead slightly, 11-10, on shots.

The Yellowjackets play at Washington & Jefferson College on Saturday. They return to Fauver Stadium to host Elmira on September 16.
