Erin Barno scored two second half goals after penalty corners to spark Washington & Jefferson College to a 3-1 victory over Rochester at Edwin Fauver Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Presidents improved to 7-1 overall. Rochester, which had won its last two matches, is 8-4.
Jennifer Marabella had the opening goal for W&J. Victoria Patrick had two assists as did Hannah Lott. Amanda Pflumm also assisted on one of the goals.
Anna Dobrzynski scored the Yellowjacket goal. It was her 14th of the season.
Lindsey Randall had the assist.
Harley Straub made nine saves in goal for W&J.
Madison Wagner made one save for Rochester.
Marabella broke a 0-0 tie with 9:39 left in the first half. Patrick played a 35-yard pass upfield. Marabella collected it on the left side of the circle. As she cut towards goal, Wagner came out to cut down the angle and Marabella slid the ball under her into the lower right side of the cage.
Rochester applied early pressure to start the second half. It paid off with a penalty corner and the equalizer.

Allison Beardsley at the top of the circle. She went around a defender, pushed it wide to Randall on the right. Randall fed it into the middle where Dobrzynski was there to finish with 32:49 left in the match.
Just over four minutes later, the Presidents broke the tie. Lott's penalty corner went out to Patrick. It was re-directed over to Barno on the right and her shot deflected into the right side of the Rochester cage at 41:54.
Another three-person passing combo produced the thrid goal for the guests at 47:34. Lott's penalty corner started it out to Pflumm. It went over to Barno and she shot it into the lower left side of the cage for a 3-1 edge.
