Max Eberhardt scored two goals 25 seconds apart to lead the University of Rochester to a 3-0 victory over RIT at Fauver Stadium on Tuesday evening. He also assisted on the first goal, scored by Josh Richards, in the 11th minute.

Rochester improved to 4-1 overall. The Yellowjackets play at 10th-ranked Hobart College on Saturday. RIT, which had two wins and a tie in its last three outings, is 2-2-1.

At 10:17, Eberhardt collected the ball on the right and chipped it to the near post where Richards steered it past Sean Conway.

The lead douibled at 59:39. Rochester earned a corner kick when Max Fan's cross was booted over the endline. Jakob Seidlitz put the ball into the box six yards off the line and Eberhardt directed it inside the left post.

Rochester took the ball away immediately. The Yellowjackets got it to Jarvis D'Souza down the right sideline. He angled towards the net and pushed a lead pass into the foot of Eberhardt who slid it past the onrushing Conway into an open net.

Scott Garfing made two saves for the shutout for Rochester. Conway had three stops for RIT.
