GAMBIER, Ohio - Rochester's scoring touch in front of the opponent's goal continued in full tilt this afternoon as the Yellowjackets defeated Kenyon College, 5-0. Rochester improved to 5-1 with the victory. Kenyon is 1-5. In six games this year, the Yellowjackets have scored 27 goals.
Allison Beardsley scored one goal and set up two others.
Anna Dobrzynski and
Shelby Hall each scored one goal and assisted on another.
Megan Keil and
Samantha Crandall scored single goals.
Madison Wagner made three saves in goal for the shutout. Rochester held a 23-8 advantage on shots, 9-2 on penalty corners.
Hall scored 5:16 into the match with Beardsley picking up her first assist of the afternoon. The lead doubled at 21:31 when Beardsley scored an unassisted goal.
Ten minutes into the second half (45:38), Beardsley's pass found Crandall for a 3-0 lead. Keil scored from Dobrzynski at 58:59 and Dobrzynski closed out the scoring at 65:09 with Hall picking up the assist.
