'Jackets Topped Twice at Blue Jay Classic



ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa - Rochester dropped a pair of 3-0 decisions to York College of Pennsylvania and Richard Stockton College on Saturday at the Blue Jay Classic hosted by Elizabethtown College.

York won, 25-23, 25-17, 25-16 while Stockton grabbed a 25-15, 25-15, 25-13 victory. Rochester is 4-13 overall. York was 11-3 after beating Rochestrer and Stockton was 7-5.

Against York, Savannah Benton had 11 kills. Jennie Ford had seven kills and nine digs. Meghan O'Connor had 15 digs. Ashley Hunter had seven digs and two service aces. Xiaoyi Li had 26 assists.

In the Stockton match, Benton topped Rochester in kills with nine. Li had 15 assists. Connor had 13 digs. Hunter had 10 digs. Ford compiled five digs and two aces.
