BUFFALO, N.Y. – Less than 24 hours after defeating RIT, Rochester split dual matches at Hilbert College. The Yellowjackets defeated Hilbert, 3-0, then were defeated by Hiram College, 3-0.

Against Hilbert, Rochester won, 25-13, 25-22, 25-20. Against Hiram, Rochester lost, 18-25, 12-25, 18-25.
 
In the victory over Hilbert, Jennie Ford had nine kills. Allie Fredrickson had seven, Emma Gira five, and Nina Baek four. Ford had 10 digs. Xiaoyi Li had 12, and Ashley Hunter had 13. Li added 26 assists.
 
Hiram played well defensively against Rochester to post its victory. Hiram had one solo block and 14 block assists. Regina Zyle had 21 digs while Tierra Moore dished 33 assists. Hiram had only seven attack errors all afternoon. Lindsay Brewer led the way with 10kills.

Rochester's dig leaders were Hunter with 11, Baek with 10, Meghan Connor and Ford with eight apiece, and Li with six. Ford had 11 kills for the Yellowjackets. Li added 25 assists.
 
Rochester is 11-14 heading into the second UAA round robin next weekend. Hiram's win boosted its record to 17-3 while Hilbert is 2-19.
