GENESEO, N.Y. – Rochester split a pair of 3-0 decisions Saturday at the Geneseo Volleyball Invitational. In their first match, the Yellowjackets lost to the host Knights, 25-20, 25-20, 26-24. In the second match vs. Medaille College, the Yellowjackets won the first two handily, 25-14 and 25-18, then fought back from a 21-16 deficit in the third game to pull out a 25-23 win.

Rochester is 7-8 after the split. Medaille was 4-15 after losing to Rochester. Geneseo was 12-2 after the victory.

Jennie Ford was the kill leader on Saturday. Against Geneseo, she had seven kills and eight digs.
Shira Katz led Rochester with nine kills.
Emma Gira had eight.
Nina Baek had five kills and nine digs. Meg Connor had eight digs and one service ace.
Ashley Hunter had nine digs.
Xiaoyi Li had 23 assists and 10 digs.

Against Medaille, Ford had 13 kills and 18 digs. Connor had six digs and two aces. Baek registered seven kills, seven digs, and two blocks. Gira had nine kills as did Katz. She also had five digs. Hunter had 15 digs and Li finished with 40 assists and eight digs.

Hunter was named to the All-Tournament Team.
