WALTHAM, MA – Rochester wasn't able to capitalize on its opportunities and dropped a 3-1 decision at Brandeis University in a UAA game on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Yellowjackets fell behind in the eighth minute, battled to tie it with about six minutes left in the half, but conceded two goals in the second half.
 
With the loss, Rochester is 8-4-3 overall, 1-3-2 in the University Athletic Association. Brandeis improved to 10-4-3 overall, 3-1-2 in the UAA. Rochester closes its regular season next Saturday when UR hosts Emory University at 7:30 pm. It will be Senior Day.
 
Ben Swanger scored the UR goal with Milan Fatschel assisting. Evan Jastremski scored twice for Brandeis. He had the opener, the netted the gamewinner early after the restart. Andrew Allen scored the last goal. Zach Vieira had two assists as did Josh Ocel.
 
In goal, Patrick Conway made one save in 90 minutes. Ben Woodhouse had six saves for Brandeis and the Judges had one team save. Rochester outshot Brandeis, 18-11.
 
Jastremski scored his opener at 7:22 on a pass from Ocel after s scramble in front of goal. Swanger got the Yellowjackets event at 39:06. Fatschel placed a free kick on target that Woodhouse saved. The rebound bounced to Swanger who converted.

In the 54^th minute, Vieria crossed the ball and Jastremski volleyed it home. With just over seven and a half minutes left, Ocel's free kick found Vieria and he directed it on where Allen was there to turn home for the clinching score.
