In the first game this morning, UR fell to Emory University 6-2. The Yellowjackets surrendered 2 runs in the 1st and 3rd innings and were unable to battle back. In the second game of the day, Rochester could not take advantage of some early scoring opportunities and dropped the contest to Brandeis 13-6.

Sam Malecki came in to pitch the 6th inning; allowing 1 run, on 1 hit, and striking out 1 batter. The remaining 4 of Emory's runs were un-earned runs scored off errors and fielders choices made by the Yellowjackets.

In the top of the 5th, Rachael Pletz singled to right field, scoring Wechsler scored who reached on a single to center field.  Emory added one more run in the 4th and 6th innings. Rochester's Pletz singled to center field scoring Wechsler score for the second time in the game.

Emory scored on a sac-fly and a wild pitch in the bottom of the 1st inning. Then in the bottom of the 3rd, hit a two run homerun to push their lead to 4-0.

In the second game of the day, the Yellowjackets surrendered three runs in the opening inning and scored one themselves; with a homerun from Wechsler. UR scored 2 in the bottom of the 3rd from a two-run homerun from Lauren Muni homering to left center field, driving in Harleigh Kaczegowicz who reached on a single.

Brandeis erupted in the 5th and 6th innings for 4 runs in each, capitalizing on 3 Rochester errors.  Laurelle Byrne-Cody singled to right center in the bottom of the 5th, scoring Jocelynn Blackshear and Muni.
