WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The University of Rochester volleyball team picked up two more victories on Saturday and ended a perfect 4-0 at the Lycoming Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Yellowjackets posted back-to-back four set wins over host Lycoming and Elizabethtown to win their fourth tournament title of the season and move to 18-5 overall on the season.

In the Lycoming match, the host Warriors ended up swiping the first set 25-21 before Rochester turned it on for the next three, winning 25-12, 25-15 and 26-24 to earn the victory.

Against the Warriors, Allie DeRubertis and Alara Kocak kept the momentum going from career-days on Friday night to lead the Yellowjackets in kills again with 21 and 14 kills respectively.  Kate Korslund chipped in a strong hitting day (7-1-14, .429) and the Yellowjackets combined for a number of service aces and blocks.  DeRubertis had three aces and 12 digs and Korslund led the way with three blocks.  Beth Ghyzel had 45 assists and three blocks as well.

The Elizabethtown match was close throughout.  Rochester jumped ahead 2-0 with a pair of wins, 25-23 and 25-19 in the first two sets.  The Blue Jays responded with a 25-23 win in the third before the Yellowjackets closed out the match with a 25-19 victory in set four.

Kocak, who was UR's representative on the all-tournament team, smacked 20 kills and added 10 digs in a double-double.  DeRubertis did the same, adding 17 kills and 11 digs and three aces.  Ghyzel had 39 assists, 16 digs and 5 blocks.
