Wolfe was third in the 3000 meter
The UR women had six top five finishes and three more top eight finishes in track and field competition on Saturday. Rochester had athletes competing at both the Brockport Golden Eagle Invite and the Cornell University Deneault Invitational.

In track events at Brockport,
Clara Wolfe led the pack of Yellowjackets, finishing third in the 3000 meter run. She crossed the line at 11:01.11.
Hannah Duttweiler also competed at Brockport. She placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles in 10.89.Â

Grace Messina was the top performer in field events for Rochester. She placed third in the weight throw with a toss of 14.58 meters.
Colette Anikwue took eighth place in the high jump with a best jump of 1.49 meters.

Eileen Bequette and
Rachel Bargabos headlined performances at the Cornell Invitational. Bequette ran the 800-meter in 2:19.18, good enough for a fourth place finish. Bargabos finished fourth in the 3000 meter with a time of 10:18.15.

Other top eight finishers included
Kylee Bartlett,
Ariane Hasbrouck and
Ayumi Yuasa. Bartlett took fifth place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.11. Hasbrouck ran the 600-meter in 1:52.80, which put her in fifth place in that event while Yuasa ran the 1000-meter in 3:14.39 and placed eighth.
