The University of Rochester men's tennis team came out on top over RIT on Friday evening. The Yellowjackets won two of three doubles matches and five of six singles matches on their way to a 7-2 victory over the Tigers.
 
Peter Huang and Masaru Fujimaki defeated Jared Ingoglia and Pat Mathews in doubles play 8-5. Tommy Thakkar and Damien Eubanks also won in doubles 8-4 over Roger Peckham and Spencer Lowit of RIT. Sahaj Somani and Yifan Shen lost their doubles match to RIT's Ben Lynaugh and Nick Lim by a score of 8-6.
 
Fujimaki also grabbed a point for Rochester at the number one position in singles play. He defeated Ingoglia 6-0, 6-4. Shen defeated Lowit 6-3, 6-2 for a point at number three. Huang also won in singles over Mac Yang Li 6-2, 6-3 at number four.
 
Rochester will travel to Orlando, Florida and play four games over the course of the next six days.
