The Rochester men's tennis team continued their impressive to start to the spring after a 9-0 win over Ithaca College on Saturday at the Goergen Athletic Center. 

In doubles play, sophomores Charlie Fang and Mark Zolotukhin represented the top spot for the Yellowjackets. They managed to win their respective set over Sam Fried and George Lomas by a 8-1 margin. 

The duo of sophomore Pasquale Procaccino and graduate student Matt Resnikoff were given the nod at the #2 spot. They defeated Colten Lavery and Liam Spiegel in a contested 8-6 win. 

Seniors Yifan Shen and Tanmay Thakkar played well for UR well over the weekend, as they beat Max Sobel and Wyman Ward in an 8-0 sweep at the #3 spot. 

The play in singles proved to be just as consistent for Rochester, as no match was forced to a third set. Fang was placed at the top spot for UR and defeated Lavery 6-2, 6-1 as a result. 

Shen played with a winning style at the #2 spot as he won his respective match against Spiegel 6-2, 6-3. 

For Procaccino, his success on Saturday continued at the #3 spot in singles play after defeating Lomas 6-2, 6-1. 

Thakarr was impressive during his time at the #4 spot, as he beat Fried 6-1, 6-3. 

Kai Yuminaga received the nod in the #5 spot and edged out Artem Khaybullen 6-2, 6-1. 

In the #6 spot, Zolotukhin earned the win over Sobel 6-3, 6-3. 

Up next, the men will look for their third consecutive win as they travel to Colgate on Sunday for a 2pm start time.
