We are excited to be welcoming our students back to campus. 
 
The Goergen Athletic Center remains closed to recreational sports activity based on New York State restrictions.  Once we are able to open the facility, access will be limited to full-time University students.
 
Students on our varsity fall sport teams will arrive over the next two weeks, and we look forward to their return to campus.
 
Today (August 5), the NCAA Division III Presidents Council canceled 2020 fall sport championships.  The Liberty League and University Athletic Association previously suspended league competition for the fall season.  As a result, we don't anticipate any games will be available for our teams.  We continue to plan for team activities, consistent with the guidelines for mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
 
We are working to ensure that our Athletics and Recreation plan conforms to institutional, county, state and NCAA guidance.  All of our planning is designed to help protect the health and safety of our students.  Our students will be our partner in this process as we all live by the University COVID-19 Community Commitment.
