BUFFALO, N.Y. – First-year
Bryce Berkhof finished first in the 100 yard freestyle (0:50.24) and swam on both winning relays as Rochester claimed a 158-55 victory in men's swimming & diving at Buffalo State College on Friday evening. The Yellowjackets will host Canisius College at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Speegle-Wilbraham Aquatic Complex.

Jose Corredor-Alvarez was a double winner for the Yellowjackets. He got to the wall first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.28), then won the 500 yard freestyle in 4:55.64. Senior
Brandon Kim captured the 100 yard backstroke (:57.97) and swam the second leg of the 200 freestyle relay.

The swimmers in the opening 200 yard medley relay (Rochester was timed in 1:42.18) were sophomore
Nick Brando, senior
Arpeet Dabhade, sophomore
Sidney Miller, and Berkhof. The 200 freestyle swimmers were Berkhof, Kim, first-year
Johnathan Wu, and first-year
Will Murray. The freestylers touched in 1:32.37.

Miller seized the 50 yard freestyle (:22.89) in addition to his relay performance. Sophomore
Frank Li was first in the 100 yard butterfly (0:54.04). Kim won the 100 back backstroke, giving him an individual win and a relay victory. Junior
Matt Kiel was first in the 100 yard breaststroke.

The first two individual victories were captured by sophomores. Bruno Coehlo won the 1,000 yard freestyle (10:24.83) and
Nate Pollitt was first in the 200 yard freestyle.
