Five home games and five road contests highlight the 2021 University of Rochester football schedule this season.

Back-to-back home games open the gridiron slate for the Yellowjackets, including an opening day night game against Case Western Reserve on September 4th at 7 pm. The Spartans, who are among others receiving votes in the preseason D3football.com poll, return to Fauver Stadium as the opening night opponent as they were back in the 2019 season.

In week two on September 4th, Rochester entertains Alfred State College for the eighth season in a row, looking for a seventh win in the all-time series against the Pioneers.

For the first time since 1988, Rochester will take on SUNY Brockport on the gridiron, heading out to one of the east region's perennial powers for a 12 pm kickoff on September 18th.

Rochester's Liberty League conference slate opens on October 2nd with a trip to the capital district, as UR takes on Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Kickoff is set for 12 pm.

Ithaca College comes to the Prince Athletic Complex and Fauver Stadium on October 9th, being Rochester's first home conference opponent of the season, with kickoff set for noon.

Conference affiliate member Buffalo State hosts Rochester at 4 pm on October 16th, with the Yellowjackets trying to avenge a tight 13-7 loss the last time the teams played, coming in the 2019 season.

Defending Liberty League champ Union College awaits the 'Jackets on October 23rd, with the contest set for noon at Fauver. The Dutchmen enter the season as the #15 ranked team in the preseason D3football.com poll.

A pre-Halloween showdown with St. Lawrence University is on tap for October 30th up in Canton, while Hartwick College hosts Rochester the following week on November 6th. Both games kick at 1 pm, with Hartwick rejoining UR's schedule for the first time since 1995.

Rochester's regular season grid schedule comes to a close in mid-November, as the Yellowjackets host Hobart College for the Centennial Cup on November 13th at 12 pm. Hobart is UR's most played opponent, as the two schools have met in football a total of 112 times since the inaugural meeting in 1892.
