PRINCE ATHLETIC COMPLEX – Rochester boosted its record to 4-0-1 with a 6-0 victory over Hobart College at Edwin Fauver Stadium on Saturday evening. The Yellowjackets had a 2-0 lead by the 13
th minute. They led, 4-0 at halftime.

By the time he game had drifted into the latter stages, the question was whether Rochester goalkeeper
Santino Lupica-Tondo could post his fourth shutout of the season. Hobart (now 3-3) made him work hard, particularly in the past 20 minutes. UR led, 5-0, at that point. With just over 19 minutes left, Hobart's Amad Miller hit a blast from12 yards that Lupia-Tondo caught and clutched. Eight minutes later, Nick Kriak unleashed from 12 yards out and the goalie punched it away. His third save came in the last six minutes. August Martini fired from in-close. Lupica-Tondo batted it into the crossbar. The orange shirts got to the rebound and Cole Hay banged a shot off the left post. His scoreless streak is now 389:99.

Swanger scored the opening two goals in a span of 2:15. Lazzara chipped the ball crossfield from right wing to Ocampo sliding down the left wing. He carried it to five yards off the endline and centered a pass to Swanger – unmarked – into the penalty area. It was directed into the net at 10:00. Shortly after that, Swanger got to a loose ball in the penalty area and drove it into the net at 12:15.

Canning's goal came after a throw-in. Cosentino threw the ball to Dowd. He sent it over to Canning who volleyed it into the net at 20:25. Later in the half, Lebbern took a corner kick to Eisold outside the left post. He headed it in from and Hypsher headed the shot down so that it rebounded into the top right hand corner.

Some times, everything clicks. Take the second half.. Canning strode down the middle. As the defenders converged, he played the ball to Moglianesi on the left and Canning headed to the far post. The pass he sought never arrived. Moglianesi aimed it at the back post and Canning.. The ball struck the inside of the right post and bounced across the goalmouth to nestle inside the left post. Swanger finished his hat trick at 89:36. He tapped the ball home from close range after passes from Shanks and Anderson.

The Hobart keepers were Christian Burkhardt for the opening 45 minutes and Guillermo Castenada Chang for the second 45 minutes. Hobart opens Liberty League play on Wednesday hosting RIT. Eight of the last 10 matches are conference games. Rochester goes to SUNY Geneseo at 7 pm on Tuesday, then hosts York College of Pennsylvania next Saturday at 2 pm.
