ATLANTA – Rochester's 400-yard Medley Relay team broke a nine-year old school record at the University Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Emory University.

The Yellowjacket quartet of
Jeremy Mah,
Alexander Cho,
Edward Domanico, and
Trevor Hoch finished the race in 3:24.69, nearly half a second faster than the mark of 3:25.12 set at these same championships in 2013. The record-holders were James Frauen, Adam Bosseert, Brian Wong, and Chris Doser.

That time was good enough for a seventh place finish in the event. Rochester's B relay was 14
th, clocked in 3:33.94 (
Chris Bushnell,
Matt Kiel,
Frank Li,
Grant Yap).

Individually,
Jose Corredor Alvarez swam in the C race for the 500 yard Freestyle. He was timed in 4:39.10. Hoch, who anchored the record-breaking 400 Medley Relay, finished 15
th in the finals of the 50 yard Freestyle (B race). His time of :20.99 was close to his trials time of :20.92.

On the Three Meter diving board,
David Robinson compiled a score of 461.15. He finished in fourth place.

Through 12 events between men and women, Rochester's men have a total of 210 points. That puts the Yellowjackets into sixth place with Day Three beginning with trials in mid-morning.
